Yoni Egg
You can select a suitable crystal based on your intuition - to which stone you are most drawn. You cannot make a wrong decision; the stone you choose is the right stone for you in that moment. If you aren’t sure which gemstone you prefer, you can also make a selection based on the stone’s energetic properties. You may find that after using a stone for a certain period, you feel that you would prefer a different stone or that you like to alternate them. Trust your feeling and choose what feels right in that moment.

Which size is best for you?
We have three sizes of yoni eggs for you to practice with: S, M and L. The sizes in centimeters may vary slightly because each product is made by hand, you can use the measurements as guidelines. The smaller the egg is, the more difficult it is to feel and hold the egg. If you are just starting to practice, it is wise to start with the biggest egg.
- Size L is approximately 5 x 3.5 cm
- This size is advised to start with
- For women who gave birth
- For women with incontinence problems
- For women who have difficulty reaching an orgasm
- Size M is approximately 4 x 3 cm
- For women who did not give birth
- For women who do not have incontinence problems
- For women who can easily reach orgasm
- Size S, about 3 x 2.5 cm
- Suitable for advanced users, when you are used to the medium format
Using your yoni egg
String
Our yoni eggs have a small hole for the insertion of a string to facilitate removal of the egg. When you become more experienced, you can choose whether you would like to continue using the string. You can use dental floss without wax, mint or additives as a string; ensure selection of natural floss to prevent vaginal irritation. Thread the string through your yoni egg, secure it with a knot and ensure that you have sufficient string to easily remove the egg after completing your exercises.
Exercise
We advise consulting a pelvic floor therapist before beginning with exercises to receive guidance, instruction and to prevent over-exertion which can result in cramping.
Should you choose to do the exercises independently, ensure that you listen carefully to your body and intuition. You can choose to do exercises such as tightening and releasing your pelvic floor muscles or to carry the egg throughout a portion of your day during your regular activities for as long as you feel comfortable or as directed by your pelvic floor therapist.
Begin with deep breathing; pick up your yoni egg and warm it in your hands until it has reached body temperature before inserting it. Do not force insertion of the egg; allow your vagina and your pelvic floor muscles to do the work. Insert the yoni egg as you would a tampon and begin your exercises when the egg has settled comfortably. Select which exercises you prefer; choose to carry the egg for a period of time or choose a more targeted exercise. Always follow your intuition or the advice of your therapist.
Rinsing and cleansing the gemstones
Crystals absorb energy and impurities from their surroundings and must therefore be rinsed, cleansed and charged regularly.
First use
Before initial use (and as often as you like afterwards), it is important that you sterilise your crystal to remove any bacteria. You can do this by boiling water and cooling it to a lukewarm temperature; add a small amount of natural soap or apple cider vinegar and place the stone in the water for a short period. Dry the stone afterwards with a cotton cloth or allow it to air dry.
Cleansing
The stone can be cleansed after each use by rinsing it under water with a mild chemical-free detergent or essential oils such as tea tree or lavender.
Energy cleansing
The crystal must also be cleansed of negative energy. The frequency depends on your own feeling; trust your intuition. If you sense that the stone is holding negative energy, cleanse the stone. If you sense that the stone requires additional positive energy, charge the stone. There are several methods for cleansing the energy of your stone. Follow your intuition in selecting the best method for you; this may also vary per cleansing session.
Running water
Place the stone under cold running water for a minimum of 5 minutes; under the faucet, for example.
Bury in earth
Bury the stone in the earth; in the garden for example, for at least 24 hours. This method is well-suited to all crystals.
Haematite
Lay the stone on a bed of haematite stones. If you would like to then cleanse the haematite stones, you can bury them in the earth.
Sage or incense
Remove the negative energy from the stone by burning sage or incense (such as sandalwood) and expressing your intention to cleanse the crystal.
Visualisation
If you are a visual person and familiar with visualisation, you can also cleanse the stone by visualising it being cleansed of negative energy. Always follow your intuition with this method.
Storing your crystals
It is best to store your crystal in the original packaging or in a nice sachet. Be sure to protect the stone from falls; it is vulnerable to breaks and fractures.
Lubricants
Would you like to use a lubricant to make insertion more comfortable or do you simply prefer to use a lubricant? We advise using a natural lubricant; there are many excellent products on the market. If desired, organic coconut oil may also be used.
Policies
Because the crystals are natural products and processed by hand, each stone is unique, and the colour and size of each stone may vary.
The crystals will have minor imperfections because of the raw nature of the stones. Be careful when storing your crystal, it can break when it falls.
It is normal for a gem to get some cracks or even break during the course of time, this is because the stone absorbs energy. Take care of the stone and always check in advance if the stone is still intact before you use the stone.
